QUALITY OF MANUFACTURE: 30 years ago the group MOB acquired the European leader of files and rasps, TALABOT. In order to assure an efficient work on soft materials the steel of the rasps is less loaded with carbon (0,45 %). At each casting MOB checks the chemical composition of the steels. Thanks to the hardening of the rasps MOB can guarantee a hardness of 53 HRC. MOB's rasps comply with the standard NF E 75 001-75 002. Cut type: the rasps are used to work soft materials like aluminium, lead, plastics or wood. The rasps’ finishing is measured in their cut type per cm2. Cut types: bastard (1), medium (2) and fine (3).
