TALABOT's files are characterized by a long cutting life thanks to the high carbon content of the steel (1.3 to 1.4%). It is alloyed with chromium to obtain a powerful bite. MOB checks the chemical composition of its steels every time they are cast. Perfect mastery of hardening, a crucial operation for cutting quality, guarantees file hardnesses of 65±2 HRC. MOB files comply with the NF E 75 001-75 002 standard. Dimensions : Files are defined by their length (excluding the tang) in mm, and their size: bastard for roughing, semi-soft for filing, and soft for finishing.
