Levpano® 1 Evolution, the reference for drywall panel lift

Created in France in 1976 by Roger Mondelin, the Levpano® drywall lift has been the market reference for les plaquistes. We have consulted craftsmen, to improve the Levpano® 1 over the years, giving greater comfort and efficiency when installating panels at height.

OUR LATEST DEVELOPMENTS ON THE LEVPANO® DRYWALL LIFT IN 2022

By observing the construction sites of our craftsmen and remaining attentive to their needs, we have been able to detect areas for improvement in our Levpano®. We manufacture Levpano® directly in our Ambierle factory.

2 NEW ANTI-SLIP PLATFORMS

  • With rounded corners and edges, our Levpano® platforms are non-slip and FSC mixed certified.
  • They still support up to 150kg (certified by Socotec).
  • Assembly is quick, with a system of captive screws.

For you, it saves valuable time and ensures greater safety. Levpano® gives you a real platform to stand on in complete safety when  screwing panels, so you can avoid using a stepladder.

Where did we get this idea ?

We have used this non-slip  covering on our Swift platforms since 2020. We tested its effectiveness and wanted to bring real added value to our Levpano®, for easier use and greater safety for our craftsmen.

2 NEW INTERMEDIATE STEPS

  • To facilitate access to the Levpano® platforms and reduce fatigue at the end of the day, by creating an intermediate step to avoid repetitive efforts.

IMPROVED COLUMN SLIDING

  • Plastic parts added to the Levpano® columns, eliminate metal-to-metal friction, and so reduce damage to painted parts.
  • Sliding is also facilitated and therefore reduces efforts when lifting the panel to the ceiling.

Where did we get this idea ?

Some of our customers did not like the metal columns as the friction between metal parts caused scratches on coats of paint. This damage to Levpano® was perceived  lower quality on these customers’ sites.

2 NEW ALL-TERRAIN TRANSPORT WHEELS.

  • These 10 cm diameter wheels make it easier to move the Levpano® over rough terrain.
  • The soft coating better absorbs shocks.
  • All four Levpano® wheels are equipped with brakes.

Where did this idea come from?

Our craftsmen told us that the Levpano® was difficult to transport, especially over rough terrain.
We carried out successful tests using much larger wheels (10 cm in diameter) and a shock-absorbing coating.

3 TYPES OF POSITIONS : HORIZONTAL UP TO 4.50M, SLOPING CEILINGS AND VERTICAL UP TO 5.90M

  • HORIZONTAL INSTALLATION
  • For laying plasterboard up to 3.5 meters high, the optimum loading height is 82 cm from the ground.
  • For laying panels between 3.5 meters and 4.5 meters high, a 1 meter extension is integrated into the Levpano®. It is graduated every 10 cm to limit the height during loading and find the right intermediate height. This system is patented.
  • 2 retractable hooks hold the panel on arrival at the ceiling, they retract to wedge the plate against the previous one without space. This system is patented.
  • VERTICAL INSTALLATION
  • The panel is held vertically by 2 reversible metal hooks and secured by 8 non-slip pads.
  • Loading the panel at ground level is facilitated, with a loading angle of 25° in relation to the column.
  • LAYING SLOPING CEILINGS
  • The angle adjusts automatically. The mobility of the head on its axis allows automatic adjustment of the panel under the furring strips, whatever the angle of the ceiling.

OUR ROTATION PLATE TO SIMPLIFY THE PASSAGE FROM SLOPING TO VERTICAL MODE

The head rotates with a simple pin, without  needIng to disassemble the head. Saving time and effort!

2 SAFETY CABLES

One cable for work, one cable for safety.
The second cable takes over if the first cable breaks. This system is patented. 

ULTRA-QUICK CLIP & GO SYSTEM: RELEASE, IT’S LOCKED!

To save time on the construction site, the quick locking and unlocking of the arms and feet. This system is patented. 

THE ADJUSTABLE CENTRAL ARMS TO ADAPT TO THE LENGTH AND WIDTH OF THE PANEL

The position of the Levpano® feet is adjustable in 3 positions: Closed / Horizontal installation and sloping ceilings / Vertical installation.

THE OFFSET HANDLE

It allows the user of the Levpano® better control of guiding and the lifting of the panel. The user can stand out of the way of the panel when it is lowered.
